Fourth Annual South Holland Business
Awards - Thursday 24 November

The countdown has begun to recognise and reward outstanding businesses in South Holland, at the annual South Holland Business Awards 2016.

The yearly celebration of business achievement saw nearly 200 people gather at Springfields Events Centre last year but organisers of this year's event are already promising that 2016 will be bigger and better.

First launched in 2013 the awards celebrate excellence in eight different categories.

As well as announcing the winners, the ceremony is a premier networking opportunity for the whole business community and everyone who works in it.

The gala occasion will take place in the evening at Springfields Events Centre on Thursday 24 November, and includes a three course dinner, key note speaker, live music and entertainment, not to mention a bar and welcome drinks reception area.

The awards are hosted by Spalding and District Area Chamber, which is part of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce.

For further details on the Awards and how to apply please visit http://www.shb-awards.co.uk

Produce Supply Chain - South Holland is the best place to do business?

This report (PDF) produced by Spalding Chamber asks the question, "Where is the best place to operate a fresh produce business in the United Kingdom"?

We have taken the old "Garden of England", Kent and compared it with the new "Kitchen of England", South Holland, to illustrate just how good South Holland really is.
This takes into account the most practical and best cost effective total route to the Supermarket including the processing, packing, labelling, warehousing and distribution for non UK produced goods.
